Course Description:
There is a gap in knowledge provided to nurses to help them avoid risk factors from chemotherapy exposure. Further research on the health beliefs of nurses regarding the risk factors of chemotherapy exposure could help bridge that gap and prevent negative effects of chemotherapy exposure in nurses.
Learner Outcomes:
Upon completion of this journal CNE module, the learner will be able to:
1. Understand the health hazards associated with chemotherapeutic drug exposure in the workplace
2. Review the recently identified factors that influence chemotherapy drug exposure among nurses
3. List effective occupational and institutional interventions to reduce exposure to chemotherapy drugs
