Course Description:
Women commonly experience sexual harassment in the workplace. In male-dominated occupations, gender harassment and unwanted sexual attention are prevalent. A better understanding and deeper research into the antecedents to sexual harassment of women in male-dominated occupations is needed. Let's delve into the literature on sexual harassment of women in male-dominated occupations, as well as the antecedents that lead to it, and find where it is lacking. Further research is needed so that communities may implement possible solutions to this problem.
Learner Outcomes:
Upon completion of this journal CNE module, the learner will be able to:
- Understand the Title VII Civil Rights Act definition of sexual harassment of women working in male-dominated occupations.
- List the antecedents to sexual harassment of women in male-dominated occupations.
- Identify potential remedies to reduce sexual harassment of women in male-dominated occupations.
