AAOHN 2024 Leadership Institute Webinar Series: Business Skills for Occupational Health Nurses
Developing leadership qualities and skills in the nursing and business environment is critical to the success of the occupational health and safety specialty. At past AAOHN National Conferences, AAOHN has offered an in-person Leadership Institute workshop. Based on the previous success of this workshop and the positive feedback from the Dare to Lead: Leadership Discussion Panel held at this year’s virtual conference experience, we are evolving the Leadership Institute into a bundled series of on-demand topics.

- Learner will be able to describe the meaning of Business Acumen and its implications in their work.
- Learner will be able to discuss key components of budgeting and contracting.
- Learner will be able to identify positive business etiquette behaviors and the negative behaviors to avoid.
